Meat Board at The Truscott Cellar

Meat Board

The talented Jimmy Butler’s Blythburgh pork is bred fully in the outdoors with exceptional free range farming standards, winning him Farmer’s Weekly’s Pig Farmer of the Year among other accolades. The sandy Suffolk soil, rooting, life span and feed achieve the flavour and succulence of traditional pork. We slow cook and press this pork shoulder to make the Truscott Cellar terrine.

Cheese

Located in the village of Barkham on the Hampshire border, Two Hoots Cheese is a small family business which prides itself on producing award winning quality handmade blue cheese. The cheeses are made in the traditional way with pasteurised cows’ and ewe’s milk. Husband and wife team Sandy and Andy Rose have been producing cheese since 2003 Their most popular cheese, Barkham Blue, has won all major industry awards.

Heritage Potatoes

Lucy and Anthony Carroll produce heritage potatoes on Tiptoe Farm, with their express intent to ‘produce potatoes like they used to taste’. They are Leaf and Red Tractor accredited and winners of the Beautiful Farm Award. These food heroes produce 17 varieties of traditional potatoes, providing exceptional history, authenticity and taste.

Across the Menu

Our vegetables, unless specified otherwise, are from Mash; our fish is sustainably sourced from The Upper Scale; and our meat, eggs and milk are Red Tractor Certified from Aubrey Allen and FoodSpeed.

Private
Events

Our mezzanine is available for wine tastings or parties of up to 30 people. The whole venue, with a capacity of 150, can also be hired for private parties.
